About Wimborne:
Wimborne Minster (locally referred to as Wimborne) is a market town in Dorset, South West England. The town is twinned with Valognes, France and Ochsenfurt, Germany. The central town had a population of 6,418 according to the 2001 census and is situated at the confluence of the River Stour and River Allen, five miles north of Poole. Every year in June the Wimborne holds a folk festival which is very popular with residents and many tourists every year for the spectacle.
The towns two most popular schools are Corfe Hills School and Queen Elizabeths School.
The Mountbatten roundabout, Wallistown is a bit of a nightmare at times but as our pupils are training on the roundabout it quickly becomes a piece of cake once you understand the procedure, and therefore other roundabouts lose their fear factor for pupils.
About the Instructor:
Neil retired from the RAF in 1995 and from there went onto work as a senior transport fleet engineer (haulage) for BOC, Scania and First Group. He has been a keen participant in sport all his life with a special regard for Rugby Union. He owns a Harley Davidson motorcycle and is often found riding the glorious countryside around Wimborne for pleasure, he also does a lot to raise money for local charities.
He also aims to train Potential Driving Instructors (PDIs) and Driving Instructor Training in Poole, Dorchester and Wimborne. Hopefully he will be able to share his ADI training in Instructional Techniques /Knowledge with others. Helping someone embark on a new career to become a Driving Instructor in Dorchester, Poole and Wimborne will give him a real sense of achievement.

This very happy young lady is Jen who today passed her driving test at Dorchester
DTC, on her first attempt. Jen is a very keen hockey and football
player, who is currently having trials at national level. She plays
both sports most weekends with her parents driving her all over the
country to play in league matches. her determination to succeed in
sport definately rubbed off into her driving, Jen had four minor faults
and that whilst driving in falling snow!!! Jen was taught by her local KISS
driving instructor in Wimborne Neil Moody.

Becky started with Kiss on May 25th as a first time pupil with no previous experience other than push bikes, she has worked very hard and learnt very quickly, her control of the vehicle was very good from the start due to the fact that she works p/time for Studio 1 as a dance nstructor. Becky, i will miss the all the sound effects as we approached hazards and junctions!!!!!!”

KISS Driving Instructor from Wimborne, Neil, sent us in the news item regarding his pupil Graig who passed his test on 28/11/11.
“Hi , here is Graig of Ashley Wood Recovery who today passed his car test at Dorchester DTC, with three minor faults. Graig came to KISS Driving School, via his employer after having problems with his previous driving school. This test was his second attempt and he was determined to crack it this time, after an attack of nerves on his first attempt.
Graig is now going to look forward to when he starts training for the big truck in the background!

Jake D passed his test today at Dorchester DTC on his first
attempt, with 5 minors.
Jake started with his local KISS driving instructor in Poole Chris back in February and was
transfered to another local KISS driving instructor in Wimborne Neil Moody in May.
Neil had this to say -
Jake has been an excellent student right from day one and has
proggressed well throughout his training, I have enjoyed teaching Jake
and will miss our banter.
24 hrs before his test we had a lesson booked and when I asked how he
was, he replied ” very nervous ” not a good build up to the test, hey!
but on the day he did well.

Luke Selby, brother of Holly S passed his test Tuesday 4th Oct at
Dorchester DTC with flying colours, 3 minor faults at his second
attempt, the examiner commented on Lukes drive as excellent, very
competent. you will remember that Holly passed her test a few weeks ago
at the first attempt and has subsequently reminded her brother Luke of
this achievment. I taught both at the same time and the sibling rivalry
was very evident from the off, nothing wrong with that, it inspired
both to to do well and well they did. It was from the very start a
pleasure to meet the Selby family and teach Holly and Luke to drive, I
and all at KISS whish Holly and Luke all the very best for the future.

Driving Lessons in Wareham – the gold standard
June 15th, 2011Everyone at KISS wants to congratulate Ade O’Connor our KISS Driving Instructor in Wareham who has achieved the ROSPA GOLD award after having completed a driving assessment today. Ade is keen to improve his skills and qualifications and is also working towards achieving his Fleet Driver Training badge and becoming an ORDIT trainer. Ade is also very much an advocate for our unique client centred learning programme which is encouraging many more pupils to work with our driving instructors.
KISS is possible the most active organisation in the industry to encourage and involve its driving instructors in Continual Personal Development (CPD). Most of our instructors deliver, on a daily basis, driving lessons and an intensive driving course to every pupil using our unique client centred learning programme.
KISS Driving School continues to work to support its driving instructors in Bournemouth, Poole, Southampton, Ringwood, Wareham, Wimborne and the surrounding areas. Well done Ade !!

Kiss Attended Hampshire Drive Safe Day at Brockenhurst College!
September 28th, 2010Kiss driving school was invited to attend Brockenhurst College in the heart of the New Forest, Hampshire, on Thursday 23rd September 2010.
This was the fifth year of the college’s annual Drive Safe Day, supported by the emergency services, the Highways Agency and other associated parties furthering the cause of making our roads safer and thus reducing road traffic incidents.
College students were able to drive our cars alongside the Kiss instructors and judging by the queue’s, the event was a great success!! Over 200 students were took up the opportunity to drive our cars, our Kiss Instuctors coached the students to drive the cars, stop in a controlled position, negotiate a series of cones and then reverse park the car.
A great day was had by all involved, special thanks go to David Ellershaw, Alan Pace and Brian Dunning who attended from the London area, and to Chris Wood who initiated the event utilising his excellent event planning skills
