About Camberley:

Collingwood College is my local school and I’ve worked with a large number of students from there over the years, including my two daughters, who I taught to drive many years ago !  I also frequently work with pupils from the following:  Farnborough Sixth Form College & Farnborough College of Technology, Kings International College, Sandhurst School and Tomlinscote Sixth Form College.

The Meadows Roundabout in Camberley is probably the most feared traffic junction in the area.  To many, it seems like a nightmare, but with proper lane discipline, it’s actually very easy to navigate.

About the Instructor:

I am, I think, the oldest Kiss Driving Instructor which also makes me the person with the most years’ driving experience.

What I enjoy most about my job is helping others to achieve whatever it is they set out to do when learning to drive.  Some examples being: gaining independence; acquiring the new skill they need for a better job or being able to ferry the kids around and of course passing the practical driving test. 

As well as being a Driving Instructor in and around Camberley, I also train Potential Driving Instructors (PDIs).  Driving Instructor Training is really enjoyable as I am able to share my ADI training Instructional Techniques/Knowledge with them which gives me a real sense of achievement helping someone embark on a new career to become a Driving Instructor.

Funniest Driving School Story:

Whilst teaching a pupil to parallel park, we pulled up alongside the car we planned to park behind, and a very worried looking owner rushed out and moved said car, leaving us stranded in the middle of the road !

Driving instructor Aldershot – Emma makes it 3 out of 3!!

January 26th, 2012

Here we have Emma from Camberley at Farnborough test centre having just become a full licence holder after passing her practical test at the first attempt and with only 5 driving faults. Emma also achieved this with only 28 hours of coaching by KISS instructor in Aldershot, James, who uses the unique KISSDrive coaching system to deliver intense driver training courses.

Emma attends Farnborough Sixth Form College and chose KISS as a result of her older sister and brother both passing first time with KISS!!

Driving lessons Camberley – early Christmas present

This is Dan from Frimley Green having just passed his practical test at the Farnborough test centre at the first attempt and with only 3 driving faults on a rather wet day just before Christmas. This came as a nice early present as Dan already has a car (hiding behind him in the photo) and he starts a new job in early January.

Dan followed the unique KISSDrive coaching pogramme with the help of KISS driving instructor in Camberley and Ordit Trainer, Alan Pace, who also recently taught his girlfriend Luci.

Driving lessons Farnborough – Christmas crackers!

December 24th, 2011

This is Sam from Camberley who passed her test on Wednesday at Farnborough Test Centre on a damp December morning (much better than the snow Sam had been dreading !). Sam was coached by KISS instructor in Farnborough, Martin. She was awarded only 3 driving faults by Helen, her examiner, who complimented her on “a cracking drive“.

Sam is eager to get out on the road to visit university friends in Bournemouth where she recently graduated from the Arts University College.

Driving Lessons in Kensington – Athina

This is Athina from Kensington who has just passed her practical driving test at Isleworth driving test centre with just 5 driving faults. Athina took an intensive driving course with David, Kiss Driving Instructor in Tooting.

During her driving lessons Athina paid a visit to one of our driving instructor training days in Camberley. Here she had a few driving lessons with other KISS Driving Instructors which helped prepare Athina for getting into the car with her examiner.

First attempt success – 18 hours and just 2 faults

This is Kaeler from Frimley having just passed her practical test at Farnborough test centre today at the first attempt. Kaeler attended Tomlinscote School and since then has been working at SCL coaching young children.

Kaeler chose her local KISS Instructor and Ordit Trainer in Camberley, Alan Pace. to help her learn and she followed the unique KISSDrive coaching programme. This enabled her to drive to a very high standard and pass her test.with just 2 driving faults after just 18 hours tuition. Kaeler also came along to a couple of our weekly driving instructor training days in Camberley to experience test-like conditions before the big day.

Kaeler is now considering taking the Pass Plus course to improve her skills even further and hopefully reduce her insurance when she gets her first car in the near future.

Luci takes the “pretty route” to a Pass

Smiling in the sunshine this afternoon is Luci from Camberley having just passed her practical test at Farnborough test centre and at the first attempt.

Luci did manage to take a rather lengthened test because she went the wrong way three times during the independent driving section – but, of course, that is not a problem providing it is done correctly.

Luci followed the unique KISSDrive coaching pogramme with the help of KISS driving instructor in Camberley and Ordit Trainer, Alan Pace, who is also teaching her boyfriend Dan. Come on Dan, Luci has now set you a challenge! Luci attends Farnham sixth form college where she is studying photography and hopes to become a forensic photographer in due course.

Laura gets just 1 fault in the heat of the moment

Earlier this year we reported that Laura from Sandhurst had passed her Theory and Hazard Perception test with very high scores. Now she has completed the job and passed the practical test with just 1 driving fault – and on the hottest day of the year so far.

Laura followed the unique KISSDrive coaching pogramme with the help of KISS driving instructor in Camberley and Ordit Trainer, Alan Pace, who also taught Laura’s sister Emma some while ago. Laura is now planning on taking the Pass Plus course to help improve her skills even further.

Driving Lessons in Aldershot – Holly in the Ivy League

A first time pass for KISS and Kitty

This is Kitty from Frimley holding her pass certificate which she gained today at Farnborough test centre at her first attempt. She was trained by local KISS driving instructor and Ordit trainer, Alan.

Kitty was recommended to KISS by several of her friends from Tomlinscote Sixth Form College which she attended until recently. She is now looking to get herself a car once she has completed the Pass Plus course.

Driving instructor in Camberley

This is Amelia from Tongham who passed her practical test yesterday at Farnborough test centre with just 4 driving faults. She was taught by KISS driving instructor in Camberley and Ordit Trainer, Alan Pace.

Recently we reported that Amelia had passed her Theory test with 50 out of 50 and the Hazard Perception test with a score of 61 – again at the first attempt. She has now completed the job and just in time for her to go on holiday to the West Coast of America in a few days time.

The 2011 Army Show – a great success for KISS

July 5th, 2011

Over thirty KISS driving instructors from Aldershot, Camberely, Farnborough, Farnham, Fareham, Ilford, Barnet, Poole, and many other areas were at the Aldershot Garrison Show (formerly known as the Army Show) on Saturday 2 July to promote the KISS image and to offer youngsters not yet old enough to drive, the chance to actually drive one of our cars in a specially cordoned-off area.

Anyone who was not able to visit us at the show should contact us for more details and to book driving lessons or to see how simple it is to switch driving schools and benefit from the unique KISS cleint centred learning programme. This enables our pupils to learn quickly and effectively so we can deliver relatively cheap driving lessons which can be as much as 60% quicker than many other driving instructors.

Driving instructor in Camberley

Smiling and looking very pleaased with herself is Bex from Camberley. Today she passed her practical test at Farnborough test centre with just 4 driving faults and that was her first attempt. She was trained by local KISS driving instructor in Camberley and Ordit trainer, Alan, who was recommended by her friend Sal who passed her test last week.

Bex is studying at Farnborough Sixth Form College and has already got her own car and is considering doing the Pass Plus course to further improve her driving skills and maybe help with the insurance costs.

During her training Bex came along with Alan to one of the KISS ADI training days at Camberley where she had a mock test carried out by someone she had never met before – just like a real examiner. It clearly helped her achieve a first time pass.

Driving Instructor in Camberley

Heather is studying at Farnborough Sixth Form College. When she was told by her friend, Corinne, how well she was enjoying learning with KISS, Heather decided to follow suit and contacted KISS Driving Instructor and Ordit Trainer, Alan Pace.

She passed her practical test at Farnborough driving test centre with just 5 driving faults after a test that lasted nearly an hour due to an incident on the A331 caused by the sudden appearance of a very large pothole. This resulted in about 5 minutes when the traffic stopped completely and a further 10 minutes of very slow movement. Heather remained calm, chatted with the examiner and was delighted with the result at the end of the test. Heather is saving up for a car and has already booked to do Pass Plus to improve her skills even further.and to help with insurance costs.

Driving Instructor in Camberley – Sal’s just like her sister

This is Sally. or Sal as she prefers to be called, from Lightwater proudly displaying her driving test pass certificate. She took her practical driving test at Farnborough driving test centre today, the 13th, and earned just 3 driving faults.

Sal took advice from her sister, Jodie, who also learned with KISS instructor in Camberley and Ordit trainer, Alan, and completed an intensive driving course and followed in her footsteps.

Sal attends Collingwood Sixth Form College where she is studying English, Geography, Business and Communications. She is hoping to go on to University and study English. Sal is currently saving hard for a car of her own and is considering doing the Pass Plus course to further improve her driving skills and maybe help with the insurance costs.

Here is Chloe from Camberley enjoying the sunshine having just passed her practical driving test at Farnborough test centre. She was complemented on a “fantastic drive” by her examiner, Rowland, the test centre manager, who could only find 3 driving faults and was full of praise.

Driving lessons in Lightwater – Lauren looks happy at last

The very happy looking young lady here is Lauren from Lightwater holding her pass certificate in the Farnborough test centre car park. Lauren began learning to drive nearly a year ago with another instructor but having taken the test two times and failed and extremely upset with the way she had been treated, her mother Julie contacted local KISS driving instructor and Ordit trainer, Alan.

After some intense work, Alan brought Lauren along to some instructor training days at Camberley where other instructors also helped boost Lauren’s confidence. She passed this morning with just 6 driving faults and is now looking to do the Pass Plus course. Lauren has just finished her education at Tomlinscote Sixth Form college and in September will be going to St. Mary’s University College in Twickenham to train as a teacher and she hopes to get a car and be able to drive there rather than rely on public transport.

Driving lessons in Aldershot

Here we have Vicky from Camberley who today passed her practical driving test at the Farnborough Driving Test Centre, for the second time – yes – the second time. Unfortunately Vicky lost her licence last year due to an insurance payment misunderstanding. As she was still within the 2 years and was given 6 penalty points, she had her licence revoked and had to re-sit both theory and practical tests.

Vicky was originally taught to drive by KISS nearly 2 years ago and was recommended to use KISS again by a pupil currently being taught by KISS driving instructor from Aldershot, James.

After just 5 lessons, she passed today with flying colours. In fact, Richard, the examiner, could only find 1 driving  fault !!

Bex from Camberley has just passed her Theory test with a score of 49 and the Hazard Perception test with a staggeringly high score of 67 – and what’s more that was her first attempt.

She is currently taking lessons from her local KISS driving instructor in Camberley and Ordit Trainer, Alan Pace, who says “Very well done and just a small matter of the practical test to go!”

This is Mark from Camberley holding his Pass certificate outside Farnborough test centre.  His examiner was Nick who was very impressed with Mark’s abilities and was unable to find any driving faults during the test.

Mark is studying Aircraft Engineering at Farnborough Technical College and hopes to work for British Airways when he qualifies. Mark already has a car of his own and has booked to do the Pass Plus course while he has the time during the Easter holidays.

Mark was trained by his local KISS driving instructor and Ordit Trainer, Alan Pace, who was equally pleased with Mark’s “clean sheet”, says “Very Well done Mark – you were a pleasure to teach.”

Driving Instructor Camberley

This is Jess from Camberley proudly displaying her pass certificate gained this afternoon at Farnborough test centre. Examiner Bill found just 5 driving faults and because he was suffering from a bad back at the end of the test they returned to the front door rather than the car park. Jess was trained by her local KISS driving instructor in Camberley and Ordit Trainer, Alan Pace.

Jess is studying German, the Classics and photography at Alton College and has a part time job in Sainsbury’s store in Alton.  She will now be able to drive to and from college and work without having to rely on the trains and lifts from Mum and Dad.  She already has her own car and is looking to do the Pass Plus course to enhance her skills.

Driving Instructor Camberley – Adam hits the right note

March 13th, 2011

Adam is proudly displaying his pass certificate which was handed to him at Farnborough test centre by examiner Margaret at the end of his first attempt at the practical test. Margaret complimented Adam on “a very nice drive” and only managed to “reward” him with 2 driving faults.

Adam took the test in his own car (shared with his sister) but was accompanied by his local KISS driving instructor in Camberley and Ordit trainer Alan Pace, who had trained Adam from the beginning.

Adam attends Collingwood Sixth form college where he is studying for his A levels. He also plays lead guitar in a recently formed rock band – he says he will be recommending KISS to the other band members who have yet to learn to drive.
