About Wimbledon:
Wimbledon is not just the home of lawn tennis. At the top of the hill, next to the Common is the village with an assortment of restaurants, pubs and many expensive shops.
The town, at the foot of the hill, is a busy transport hub, where trains, the Tube, trams and buses converge and where there are many shops as well as bars, restaurants, theatres and clubs.
Just west of Raynes Park, the A3 enables easy access from the area to distant destinations.
There are several schools in the area, mainly on the slopes of the hill as well as the Art College.
About the Instructor:
In my 35 years of driving, I have driven doctors to emergency house calls, journalists and photographers to investigate their stories and, more recently, tennis players to and from the tennis complex at Wimbledon.
Possessing a driving licence has also enabled me to live in various countries in Europe as well as New York and California – I’ve even driven my car from Broadway to Pier 39 in Manhattan.
I enjoy instruction – it allows me to pass on the benefits of my extensive experience to enable learners. I take great joy in watching my pupils develop into safe and responsible drivers who will delight in the freedoms that possessing a driving licence will bring them.
Funniest Driving School Story:
I have no specific funny story. My objective is to make the learning experience an enjoyable and fun time.
