About Cranleigh:
Cranleigh lies near the A281 between Guildford and Horsham. Its name comes from the cranes thought to have inhabited the area at one time. The church of St Nicolas dates back to around 1170. The building in its present form is from the mid 14th century.
One of the highlights of the year is the Cranleigh Show run by the Agricultural Society. There is always plenty of live stock to see and lots of fun things for the kids to do. Also there is the David SHepherd Wildlife Foundation which helps critically endangered mammals in the wild.
There is a weekly market every Thursday which makes the village very busy and pupils find this a worry to drive through, as the roads are quite narrow with plenty of parked cars. Given good guidance on meeting traffic and adequate clearance, they always manage very well.
Nearby Schools:
Glebelands School is located just off the main High Street and has about 850 pupils. Cranleigh School is an independent school with about 510 pupils. Others include St Catherines in Bramley and Charterhouse in Godalming.
About the Instructor:
I was born in Kent and moved to Surrey when my son was born 25 years ago. I also have a 23 year old daughter and they have now both flown the nest and I live peacefully with my partner. I helped my daughter to pass her practical driving test a few years ago and I thought a career in helping others pass their test would be very worthwhile. So I decided to beome a driving instructor and I started my adi training with KISS.
Now, having done my driving instructor training in Reigate and Camberley I have a career I really enjoy. I also intend to go on and help others become a driving instructor as I work with KISS Driving school.

Driving instructor Cranleigh – KISS delivers just in time

This is Ursula who passed her practical test on Thursday 8th December at Guildford with just 6 driving faults.She was taught by KISS driving instructor in Cranleigh, Carole.
Olivia has her second child due in January and will now be able to take them out for day trips and shopping.

This is Maggie from Cranleigh, who passed her practical test at Guildford driving test centre yesterday at the first attempt after just 36 hours training.
Felicity chose to take lessons from her local KISS driving instructor from Cranleigh, Carole who uses the unique KISSDrive coaching programme to deliver high quality training.
Felicity goes to UCL in Farnham and can now drive herself there instead of having to catch a train and 2 buses.

The smiling young lady is Felicity from Cranleigh who passed her practical test at Guildford test centre on Monday 31st – Halloween – with 6 driving faults.
Felicity was coached by KISS driving instructor from Cranleigh, Carole who uses the unique KISSDrive coaching programme to deliver high quality training.
Felicity can now drive her 2 year old baby girl to nice places and hopes to be able to find a better job as an accountant.

Harriet found Not Guilty by the judge

Harriet from Cranleigh wants to become a lawyer and is attending Guildford High School and studying ‘A’ level English literature, French and Politics. Last friday she was “up before the beak” at Guildford driving test centre as she took her practical test. It was her first attempt and she was found totally “Not Guilty” by the examiner who awarded her zero driving faults.
Harriet took lessons from her local KISS driving instructor in Cranleigh, Carole, who used the unique KISSDrive coaching programme to bring Harriet to such a high level of competence.

Everything goes to plan for Talisa

Talisa from Ewhurst is studying at Godalming College and wants to become an architect so when it came to learning to drive, she had everything “planned” well in advance.
She contacted KISS driving instructor in Cranleigh, Carole, and booked 16 hours off-road driving practice at the KISS young driver track at Dunsfold and completed this before her 17th birthday. She took and passed the Theory and Hazard Perception tests on her birthday and has now completed the project and passed the practical test at Guildford test centre. Throughout her training she followed the unique KISSDrive coaching programme as delivered by all KISS driving instructors.

‘Why can’t you find a Driving Instructor when you want one’
Contrary to the evidence in this photo KISS Driving School got fifteen driving instructors to donate their time to help raise £355 for The Cranleigh Show last Sunday. This allowed kids who are under 17 to enjoy a short off-road driving experience for a small charge.
Many thanks to Carole KISS Driving Instructor in Cranleigh for liasing with the show organisers and getting the crew together and ensuring we all had a great day out.

This is John from Wormley who passed his test at Guildford driving test centre at the first attempt. John works for Coleman Roofing Supplies and will now be able to drive their smaller vehicles and may be go on to better things.

Driving Instructor Cranleigh

This is Sam from Guildford having passed his practical driving test at Guildford Driving test centre at the first attempt with just 5 driving faults after completing his intensive driving course.
Sam is an apprentice kitchen fitter and has recently moved to Fernhurst so needs a car for work. He was trained by KISS driving instructor in Cranleigh, Carole and it took around 25 hours of training for him to reach the required standard.
