Kiss Limited is an Agency that introduces pupils to self-employed Driving Instructors, trained and quality approved by Kiss Ltd. Any contract is therefore between the Pupil and the Instructor.
If you need to reschedule a lesson you need to contact your Instructor direct at least 48 hours before the appointment. Otherwise a late cancellation fee is applicable ( at your Instructors discretion) whether the reason was predictable or not.
Although your Instructor makes every effort to be on time for your lesson occasionally delays in traffic systems can cause the Instructor to run later than scheduled. If the Instructor is running late you should expect to receive a text to advise you.
Please advise your Instructor as soon as you book your practical driving test with the DSA. A 3 hour booking is usually made to give time to get to and from the test centre, pre-test lesson and use of the car for test. The Instructor has the right to refuse the use of the car for test purposes if the pupil is not properly prepared to the standard required to undergo testing by a DSA examiner.
In the event of a driving test being cancelled by the DSA due to examiner sickness or bad weather the booking will go ahead as lessons, and the pupil will still be liable for the fees due to the Instructor. DSA will reschedule the practical test booking to the next suitable date.
The company behind the KISS Driving School (Keep It Simple Systems Ltd) was founded by David Ellershaw, Rob Tullett and Jennifer Ramsey in 2002 because they recognised there was a need for a high quality training and driving school. Since that time the company has grown to over one hundred highly skilled instructors, many of whom are becoming trainers themselves.
David is the architect of the company’s instructor training programme and over several years he has trained literally hundreds of instructors, many of whom still work with KISS.
Rob has been in the industry for a number of years and is keen to ensure the growing number of instructors representing KISS maintain the quality required.
Jennifer has over 20 years of experience in driving schools and can easily empathise with both the pupils and the instructors needs.
